Summer is all about the sun and one very POPULAR look this year is that beautiful, smooth SUMMER GLOW. This blog post will ensure you know everything you need to know in order to achieve that oh so natural glow. To achieve that natural glowing look follow these steps, it is simpler than you think!

THE 1ST STEP:
Apply your usual everyday foundation routine to your face; make sure you use the right foundation colour well suited to you (future blog: how to choose the perfect foundation for you skin tone - coming soon!) Just to refresh - that should be a primer, concealer, foundation and powder.

THE 2nd STEP:
Apply a light pink or coral blush colour to the apples of your cheeks and in circular motions swift that contour brush to your temple. Below is a guide on blush applications best suited for different face shapes.
THE 3rd STEP:
Apply a highlighter in the following areas of your face:
1. Bridge of your nose
2. In a triangle shape under both eyes (top of cheeks below the eye)
3. On your temples
4. On your chin
5. (Optional) Under your brows
THE 4th STEP:
Fill in your eyebrows and shape the to your liking.
THE 5th STEP: SHIMMER EYES

1. Using a eye primer prime your entire eye lid area.
2. Using a shimmery pink eye shadow base your eyelids with this colour.
3. Using a bronze colour apply to the inner lid area.
4. Using the same bronze colour line the bottom area of the eyes.
5. Using a brown shade apply the shadow to the outer corners of the eyes, blending the colour into the outer middle.
6. Using a black shade apply with a eyeliner brush the shade above the line you created in step 4, as well as the top lid (think of it as though you are using eyeliner).
