No one wants to look like a ridiculous when applying make-up, that why your here viewing our blog!
We want to look glamorous so here is a list of beauty dont's that us girls have compiled from our own beauty fails as well as the knowledge we've gained over the years.
We look back and think WHAT WERE WE THINKING!
Don't over correct!
One of us used a green colour corrector concealer (we will do a blog on this soon) all over her face and then used mineral powder foundation on top. Long story short: She looked white as a ghost and everyone was staring at her! lol
*tip: Remember when using colour correcting concealers they should be used under liquid foundations as they give greater coverage and don't come off as easily as mineral powder foundations.
Don't use concealer as a foundation!
Long story short: You will look pale and as a result very ill.
Remember to blend in blush!
Long story short: You will look like you belong in the circus!
Don't use a concealer that is extremely lighter than your skin colour!
Don't over-bronze!
Remember not to add too much bronzer and that you should blend and define the areas as shown in our Basics Blog 2.
Don't mix foundation with water or apply makeup straight onto a wet face!
Foundation is not meant to be diluted. Please pat dry before applying! One of us girls used to work with someone who'd do this and told them to do the same! Long story short, her co-workers face was blotchy and unsightly.
Don't over apply mascara!
It will become clumpy and look like spider legs!
Don't colour in your eyebrows too harshly!
Don't over draw your lip liner and make sure to get it on your lips!
