Brush Care

It is important to keep your make up brushes clean by washing them once a week at the least.

Make up brushes build up oil and bacteria over time when they have not been cleaned properly, or at all. These simple steps will teach you how to clean and take care of your brushes.

  1. Rinse tip of brush bristles out with lukewarm water; removing makeup residue
  2. Fill up a sink or container etc with lukewarm water
  3. Add a small amount of shampoo or cleanser in the water and mix
  4. Optional: tie up a rubber band on the bristles where the bristles meet the handle as by soaking the end of the bristles may cause the bristles to come out; as it loosens the glue.
  5. Gently soak the tip of the bristles into the water
  6. Massage bristles in the water
  7. Rinse brush bristles out with lukewarm water
  8. Leave to dry (may take a few hours)

And we're done! Brush care down pat in a few minutes!
